If you're only familiar with Chieftain Conifer via Acheulean Forests, then Trolljkerring may come as something of a shock to your system. If the former is a faerie-tinged representation of childhood's whimsy, then Trolljkerring's noisy assault is the damage that shatters that sense of whimsy and signifies childhood's end. The Last Summer isn't the easiest listen, but there's a wounded beauty buried deep within the nucleus of the cacophony that makes it more than worth whatever unease it may initially induce.
